Val's Story:
I've been quilting for over six years now. At first it was something I did in order to handle the loss of my best friend. We had been best friends since 8th grade. This was something that was her idea at first, and I went along with it because she made it sound like so much fun. She was so right, as usual. The first year after she died I made 27 quilts. They ranged from baby to queen. I was hooked after that. It has become my passion. I have friends and family who say I should teach quilting. I laugh and tell them I am not a teacher, but I will help them make anything they want. They just nod and say I taught them. I didn't. It came from their hearts. I just helped it get put together, and I'd love to help you too!
